TSI Trulle Tromsøstudentenes havpadleklubb

Trulle will offer Trulle members a possibility to receive some instruction in kayak techniques. The emphasis will be on safety techniques (paired and individual rescue) as competence in these is required before getting the key to the kayak boat house (“naust”). 

The number of participants will be limited by the availability of dry-suits (waterproof suits for kayaking). Trulle has 5 drysuits. Their sizes are: L (2 suits) and M (2 suits) and S (1 suit). If you have your own dry-suit, you are very welcome to bring it!

Padleklubben TSI Trulle kaller med dette inn til årsmøte mandag 27. september kl. 17.00 i andre etasje på Cafe Flyt. Foreløpig saksliste til årsmøtet ligger her.

Førstkommende onsdag 25. august starter vi opp igjen med onsdagspadling. Dette er et tilbud for studenter som lite eller ingen bekjentskap med padling fra før, eller for de som bare syns det er trivelig å padle i flokk. Les mer om tilbudet her.

At the start of every autumn semester the outdoor groups in TSI gather out at beautiful Brensholmen to let the new students try out the different activities that we offer. This year will be no different and the date for the event is set to the 28th of August. Read more about the event and how to join on the TSI pages.

Lørdag 28. august går årets Fresk Luft av stabelen. Da samler TSIs turgrupper seg på Brensholmen slik at nye studenter kan få prøve seg litt på det som vi driver med. Trulle har i alle år pleid å stille på dette arrangementet, men i år så er mange av de vanlige aktivitetslederne i klubben bortreist. Derfor trenger vi noen som kunne være med på å lede aktiviteten uten på Brensholmen. Det vil stort sett bestå i korte turer, men med folk med minimal erfaring fra kajakk tidligere.

Trulle has booked the TSI cabin on Brensholmen/Sommarøy, 20-22 of August. There will be kayaking excursions on Saturday and Sunday. We will formulate a detailed planning according to the number of participants. Participants with the possibility of driving their own cars will be of big help for the transportation logistic. If you think you are interested to join please send a mail to aktivitet@trulle.no. Do include some information on your kayaking experience and if have a car.

For the 20th time we welcome you to ASKR – The annual meet for ocean paddlers from all of Europe; it was arranged for the first time in 1991. Here competition paddlers, leisure paddlers and novices gather for a pleasurable week of paddling that combines both socializing and learning in breathtaking natural surroundings. This year as last year, the events of 2010 will be located at the venerable old fishing village at Skipnes, located on the seaward side of the Vesterålen islands, at 69 degrees north latitude in northern Norway.

 8. til 11. juli arrangeres Midnightsun Experience på Sommarøy utenfor Tromsø.

The last Wednesday padling for this semester is just finished. We will the Wednesday trips again August. In the mean time there might be some occasional trips that will be announced on this site.
